Tervetuloa mukaan Mikäpaikka@Viikki -esitykselliselle kävelykierrokselle!
Teos on kaupunkitilaan rakennettu, paikkasidonnainen ja kaupunkilaisille suunnattu ilmainen esitys, joka tarkkailee julkista tilaa vallaten arjen huomaamattomat ohituspaikat mielikuvituksellisella tavalla. Esitys korostaa arkkitehtuurin ja kehollisuuden välisyyttä, ja tuo ihmiset yhteiseen kaupunkitilaan kohotetun katsomisen äärelle. Teos kutsuu katsojan kävelylle tarkkailemaan ympäristöä ja paljastaa kaupungin huomaamattomia, arkisia, mutta keskeisiä ja kiinnostavia kohtia fyysisen teatterin keinoin. Kevytrakenteisen koko perheelle sopivan kävelykierroksen voi kulkea kävellen, lastenrattaiden tai pyörätuolin kanssa. Esitystä on mahdollista seurata yli kielirajojen.
Esityksessä yhdistyvät fyysinen teatteri, tanssi, sirkustaide ja musiikki.
Esitys päättyy CoolHead Brewery & Taproom -ravintolan edustalle (Koetilantie 1, 00790 Helsinki).
Esityksen kesto: 1 tunti 20 minuuttia. Esityksen aikana kävellään noin 2,5 km matka. Kävelytahti on rauhallinen.
Kierroksen varrella on mahdollista istahtaa hetkeksi muutaman kerran. WC tilat löytyvät ennen esitystä Prisman sisältä ja esityksen jälkeen CoolHead Brewery & Taproom -ravintolasta.

Welcome on Mikäpaikka@Viikki performative walking tour by the physical theatre group Physical Opera!
The site-specific performance is built into the city space for the people of the city and is free of charge. It seeks to observe and make use of the public spaces that often go unnoticed, in imaginative ways.
The performance aims at accentuating the connection between architecture and physicality and brings people together to view the shared city space in a heightened way. It invites the audience member for a walk to observe the surroundings and reveals with the means of physical theatre focal and fascinating parts of the city space that often go unnoticed in every day life. The performance is suitable for families and can be done walking, with a pram or a buggy, and is wheelchair accessible. As the performance is mainly conveyed via means of physical theatre and mainly non-verbal it is suitable for all linguistic backgrounds.
The performance combines physical theatre, dance, circus and music.
The performance ends in front of CoolHead Brewery & Taproom (Koetilantie 1, 00790 Helsinki).
The walking distance during the performance is approximately 2,5 kilometres and the walking pace will be slow. Total duration is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes.
There will be an opportunity to sit at a few locations along the walk. Restrooms will be provided before the performance at Prisma Viikki and at the end of the performance at CoolHead Brewery & Taproom.
